Our story

Our clients are often successful people with a family, -and good job, and at first glance, everything is fine.

Our clients come from all walks of life. The one thing they have in common is a history of alleviating life's stresses through alcohol, and sometimes other substances or pornography consumption. Despite their appearances of coping well—many are immensely successful in their careers—there comes a point when they realize their addiction is eroding their quality of life, often leading to challenges within their relationships.

At the Get Sober Program, the journey to recovery begins with the decision to change and seek a better life. The second step involves collaborative exploration to determine the most suitable treatment and path for each individual. During the initial three months of the program, all interactions are conducted 100% online, ensuring anonymity and offering flexibility. Within this timeframe, sobriety becomes an achievable reality.

This newfound stability paves the way for a harmonious life, nurturing a healthy mind, body, and spirit, while also promoting financial security.

The journey only gets better.

Wallace Murray

Wallace's personal experience led him to establish this program with the intention of providing a healing path for those struggling with alcohol addiction. Anyone affected by alcohol knows that embarking on this healing journey is a challenging process. It's not about pursuing happiness or increasing productivity; rather, it's about confronting one's truth, humbly letting go, and stepping into the life that awaits.

Wallace has firsthand experience with the profound impacts that alcohol addiction has on individuals who drink, their family members, and their intergenerational family dynamics. His approach integrates modern healing and clinical techniques with Indigenous knowledge. This integration combines emerging trauma therapy methods, such as Compassionate Inquiry by Gabor Mate, as well as Deep Brain Reorienting pioneered by Frank Corrigan, indigenous practices, and the growing field of plant medicines and psychedelic studies. His academic and professional focus extends to ongoing studies in psychedelic therapy, as well as collaborating with mental health teams on special projects, coaching, and supporting other healthcare providers in managing clients and practices.Whatever arises during sessions, rest assured that there is a path to healing. The central focus of the healing process is restoring relationships that have fallen out of balance.

As a counselor, he provides support in a shared journey of learning and growth, often conducting assessments collaboratively. Techniques such as questioning, storytelling, humor, and modeling enhance awareness in a holistic way, fostering a sense of interconnectedness with life. His hypnosis approach combines both Ericksonian and Indigenous knowledge.
